The Entangled Web furnishes Internet World Wide Web page hosting, dedicated servers, co-location services, web design and e-mail services. The Entangled Web has particular legal and moral responsibilities regarding the use of its computer network and apparatus involved in these services.

The Entangled Web's common policy is to act as a neutral provider of access to the global Internet. The Entangled Web has specific moral concerns in respect to the use of its computers detailed below. The Entangled Web reserves the right to suspend or revoke a customer's access to any or all services provided by The Entangled Web when The Entangled Web determines that the account has been used unacceptably.

Specific Acceptable Use Policies

The Entangled Web will firmly react to any use or attempted use of an Internet account or computer without the owner's permission. Password cracking, security hole scanning and other related uses will not be tolerated. Any unauthorized use of accounts or computers by The Entangled Web customer, whether or not the attacked account or computer belongs to The Entangled Web, will result in action against the assailant. Possible responses include warnings, account suspension or nullification, and civil or criminal legal action, according to the severity of the attack.

E-mail Usage and Broadcasts

Commercial advertisements are unwelcome in most User groups and on most e-mail mailing lists. Inappropriate posting may result in account suspension or cancellation. See the newsgroup or mailing list's charter for whether advertising is accepted or not. "Spamming," or sending a message to numerous different off-topic newsgroups, is especially unethical and will be treated as such Dedicated server clients and co-location clients can send e-mail with the use of bulk e-mail software only with the consent of The Entangled Web management.

Sending a message, notably an advertisement, to several recipients, is also considered spamming unless the individuals have precisely requested to be added to a mailing list on that topic. E-mail was not intended to be a broadcast medium. The Entangled Web will not tolerate any abuse of its e-mail system. File transfers, mailing list broadcasts and any other action deemed by The Entangled Web to be inappropriate will result in account suspension and/or termination.

Account and FTP abuse

The Entangled Web's clients are provided with limitless traffic, where applicable, for their web sites. It is The Entangled Web's intent to serve web documents. All web pages (html) must be "linked" with files stored on The Entangled Web's server (in other words, you cannot use your account as a “dump” for files belonging to a web site not on The Entangled Web’s servers). Web sites that are found to contain either no html documents, or a great number of unlinked files are subject to warning, suspension or revocation at the discretion of The Entangled Web administration. All FTP sessions are logged, if you do not agree with this policy then please contact The Entangled Web before purchasing an account. Uploading of illegal, copyrighted or licensed software for the purposes of distribution and/or personal use will not be tolerated and will result in immediate account suspension and/or termination.

Services Rendered

The Entangled Web is pleased to offer all its customers great customer and technical support. In order for The Entangled Web to continue to provide these great services, there has to be good communication and cooperation both from our side, as well as from customer's side. The following policies and rules, have been created in order for us to have good relations with the customer - and to keep the services running smoothly. By signing up with our services, you accept all these policies and rules. You understand that by following these rules, you will be able to get the most out of our provided services, and that by violating any of these policies can result in deactivation of your account.

Service is setup ready for use and account information is sent through emails immediately upon completion of payment process. There are no products or services that are provided by The Entangled Web which required shipping.

Payment Policies

Setup fees and monthly payments must be prepaid for any of The Entangled Web’s services and are non-refundable. Payment is due each anniversary quarter, year, or year(s) period following the date the account was established. 10% late fee will apply to accounts past due more than 14 calendar days from the due date. Any account not brought current within 30 days of due date is subject to suspension and/or termination. There will be a $25.00 USD ($75.00 USD in the case of Dedicated Servers or Co-Location) charge to reinstate accounts that have been terminated. The customer is responsible for all currency owed on the account from the time it was instituted to the time that the customer notifies The Entangled Web in writing for a request for termination of services. Returned checks will be assessed a $30 charge. Refused credit cards will cause account suspension until the account is paid. All payment is in U.S. currency.

Failure to make payment will constitute termination of services and ALL aspects of the account becomes the legal proverty of The Entangled Web.

Cancellation

The Entangled Web reserves the right to cancel service at any time. All fees paid in advance of cancellation will be prorated and paid by The Entangled Web if The Entangled Web initiates its' right of cancellation. If cancellation is caused by clientele breach of these policies, then no refund is due.

Clientele can cancel service any time and be refunded any amount that services have yet to be performed on (except “adult” plans). Due to protection concerns, all account cancellations must be done in writing, via US mail with a valid signature of the principal contact of the account, account name, password, and reason for revocation. Payment will be made by company check within 60 days of receipt of cancellation.

Lawful Intent

The Entangled Web reserves the right to deny service to anyone. Customers may only use The Entangled Web's web hosting account(s), dedicated server(s), co-location service(s) and e-mail service(s) for lawful purpose. Transference of any information in violation of any International, Federal, State, Provincial or Local laws is forbidden. This includes, but is not restricted to copyrighted data, information legally judged to be threatening or obscene, and information protected by privacy rights. The Entangled Web prohibits anyone from using The Entangled Web's hosting account(s), dedicated server(s), co-location service(s) and e-mail service(s) for the reproduction, dispersing, storing, processing, or handling in any way data which we believe to be unacceptable, including, but not restricted to, malicious materials, and any and all information that The Entangled Web deems unacceptable. The designation of any information as regards to above is left completely to the option of The Entangled Web administration. The Entangled Web's web hosting account(s) are designed for the buyer only. Customers cannot sublease, or grant control of any share of The Entangled Web's web hosting account(s) without The Entangled Web’s permission. If one does the aforementioned, termination of services is likely.

Indemnity

Customer agrees that it will protect, indemnify, save and hold The Entangled Web harmless from any and all stipulations, arrears, losses, expenses and assertions, as well as rational attorney's fees declared against The Entangled Web, its representatives, its customers, and administration that may arise or result from any service provided or executed or agreed to be executed or any product sold by customer, it's agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Entangled Web against liabilities arising out of any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or distributed in association with The Entangled Web's services, any material furnished by customer encroaching or supposedly encroaching on the exclusive rights of a third party, copyright violation and any defective products sold to customer from The Entangled Web's services.

The Entangled Web is not responsible for any damages your business may suffer. The Entangled Web does not make implied or written warranties for any of our services. The Entangled Web denies any warranty or merchantability for a specific purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by The Entangled Web. The Entangled Web reserves the right to amend its policies at any time.
